You can now select many files at one time when uploading.
If you have lots of ideas we need to hear from you. We have added a new forum where you can add ideas and suggestions for improving ClearWiki.
Take a look at the suggestions list and vote on the ideas you like. If you have a suggestion that's not on the list then go ahead and add it.
If you need some help with your wiki then see if your question has already be answered in our new help forum. If you cant find the answer you are looking for then ask a question.
You can access both these forums from the feedback page in your wiki.
If you would prefer not to use the to-do lists on your wiki, you can turn this feature off completely by visiting the General Settings page.
If you would prefer to have the wiki sort pages automatically, you now have the option of sorting wiki pages alphanumerically, or using the manual sort feature.
Wiki administrators should go to the new General Settings page to switch sort modes.
version 1.7.0
Wiki users, you can now upload an image of yourself. Your photo will be displayed on your homepage, as a thumbnail next to any content you change, and against comments you make. Avatars will also be displayed in the directory.
If you subscribe to the Access Control feature, you can now create fully read-only guest user accounts. Guest users can only read the wiki, and not change any content. You can decide if your guest users appear in the directory, and if they are able to comment on wiki pages. Guest User accounts are excellent for letting people outside your main work group read your all, or just parts of your content.
The order of child pages listed on a wiki page can now be changed to any order you want.
Wiki administrators can now download files of usage statistics. These can be downloaded for each month and provide data on your user's contributions and the pages they view. The comma separated data files can be read into Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet software, so you can build up usage patterns over time.
If you subscribe to any of ClearWiki's premium features (except SSL encryption), you now have the ability to have your wiki served from your own domain.
This means instead of your wiki address being, for example, yourcompany.clearwiki.com it can now be served on wiki.yourcompany.com Wiki administrators can configure this on the Settings > Branding page.
Unfortunately, this feature cannot be automated quite so easily for wikis that run on SSL encryption. If you are interested in this feature and have subscribed to the SSL upgrade please contact support@clearwiki.com
